Resumo

The Craig-Bampton method reduces the number of internal degrees of freedom of substructures by
approximations, using a set of truncated vibration modes. This is useful for large/complex structures projects. This
work aims to develop dynamic substructuring through the Craig-Bampton method for free vibration analysis on
reticulated structures. The reduction in the number of equations provided by the method is demonstrated for the
numerical examples considered. The accuracy of the method was verified through structural analyzes performed
in the SAP 2000 software.
