Resumo

The study presents numerical findings concerning 3D long-span roofing models. These findings combine eight load cases that encompass both horizontal and vertical nodal component forces, as well as two boundary conditions applied to the arc bases: perfect hinges and fully fixed supports. Nonlinear analysis was conducted to evaluate postbuckling behavior and better estimate the safety factor. The analysis includes initial imperfections and nonlinear materials resulting in the following outcomes: equilibrium paths (relationship between reactions and arc center node displacements), deformed shape (type of collapse), and peak loads.
