Resumo

A  strategy for faster matrix assembly in the Boundary Element Method (BEM) is applied to elasticity problems in this work. The key idea lies in extending the direct interpolation method, conventionally applied to domain integrals, to boundary integrals. This approach yields enhanced computational efficiency while preserving solution accuracy and ensuring convergence with mesh refinement. The effectiveness of this technique is demonstrated through its application to two-dimensional elasticity problems.
