Sobre a Revista
The XLIV Ibero-Latin American Congress on Computational Methods in Engineering (CILAMCE 2023) will be held from November 13 to 16, 2023 in Porto, Portugal.
Regular activities of CILAMCE, such as plenary lectures, mini-symposia presentations and welcome cocktail/dinner, will occur from November 13 to 16.
Annually promoted by the Brazilian Association of Computational Methods in Engineering (ABMEC), CILAMCE aims to serve as an international forum for communicating recent developments on numerical methods in all fields of engineering and related sciences.
CILAMCE was firstly launched under the leadership of the late Prof. Agustín Ferrant and with the support of the emerging Brazilian community of computational mechanics. Today, CILAMCE is the main conference for engineers, students, researchers and other professionals, from Brazil and other Ibero-Latin America countries. In this year edition, CILAMCE will be held in Portugal. Hence, it is expected that CILAMCE attracts the attention of researchers and academics from all over Europe, enriching even more the scientific level of CILAMCE.
CILAMCE is a multidisciplinary gathering, designed to discuss and explore the state-of-the-art on computational methods in engineering. Thus, scientists and engineers from all fields are encouraged to attend the conference, benefiting from the eclectic technical program, which typically includes worldly prominent plenary speakers and several mini-symposia parallel sessions with contributed papers.
Under-gradutation and Ph.D. students are also an important share of the CILAMCE’s community. Thus, CILAMCE promotes a special student competition – the Agustín Ferrante Award – to acknowledge undergraduate students who show potential for outstanding scientific achievements.
We look forward to welcoming you to Porto, Portugal, for the CILAMCE 2023.
