Abstract

This paper presents an accelerated boundary element method (BEM) for analyzing incompressible viscous flow. The formulation stems from the continuity and Navier-Stokes equations. By employing the direct interpolation method within the BEM framework, domain integrals are handled without the need for cells. Hierarquical matrices are used to mitigate the computational cost inherent in traditional BEM, leading to significant improvements in simulation time and storage efficiency.
