Abstract

This work presents a Boundary Element Method (BEM) formulation for the solution of Fractional Poisson differential equation, in which the order of the space derivative, say a, belongs to the interval (1,2).  A comprehensive discussion regarding the development of the BEM formulation is presented and some examples are analysed. The BEM results are compared with the analytical solutions.
